SC Senate Bill 323 (S.323) would completely ban abortion, with no exceptions for rape, incest or fatal fetal anomalies. It would criminalize providers, threaten access to miscarriage care, and even include RICO provisions that could target abortion funds, target volunteers, and target anyone who helps a friend get the medical care they need.

This bill is not about health or safety. It is about control. It is about lawmakers listening to the extremist anti-abortion lobby instead of South Carolinians.

  • ACDP's Statement in Support of the Request to Investigate Ellen Weaver

    SCDP Chair Trav Robertson has sent a letter to both US Attorney General Merrick Garland and SC Attorney General Alan Wilson requesting their offices to investigate potential fraud related to Ellen Weaver’s credentials to serve as SC Superintendent of Education.

    The ACDP Executive Committee Officers have issued a statement formally supporting these requests.
