    • A valid South Carolina Driver’s License or South Carolina issued ID card.

      • South Carolina does NOT charge for a SC issued ID card. You can obtain one for free at your local DMV.

    • A South Carolina Voter Registration Card with PHOTO.

      • A photo voter registration card can be obtained at the Anderson County Voter Registration and Elections.

      • You will need to already be registered to vote. IF NOT ALREADY REGISTERD TO VOTE, click box above to Register to Vote.

    • Federal Military ID

      • Includes Department of Defense Identification or Veterans’ Administration Identification

    • US Passport

      • Includes US Passport Card

  3. Application DEADLINES

    1. Apply anytime after January 1st, the year of the election.

    2. Application MUST BE RECEIVED by 5 pm on the 11th day BEFORE the ELECTION.

      • Mail applications MUST also be received by 5 pm on the 11th day before the election.

      • IF in DOUBT, it is better to take in person.

  4. When YOU receive your ABSENTEE BALLOT, remember someone over 18 MUST witness your Ballot.
