Precinct Chair:

Job Duties

• Assist the Chair and Executive Committee in implementing the Precinct Leader Guide.

• Recruit volunteers to help organize and work their precinct, as they are too large to be worked by one person.

• Enlist as many precinct volunteers as possible to get the job done. Organizing and working a precinct is a true grassroots, person-to-person exercise.

Finance Committee Chair:

Job Duties

• Serve as the legal head of the County Committee.

• Coordinate with the Treasurer to develop an annual strategic plan to guide committee activities. Preside at meetings.

• Exercise supervision over the County Committee and all its activities and employees.

• Represent and speak for the County Committee to other organizations and to the public.

Membership Committee Chair:

Job Duties

• Produce periodic contribution reports and thank-you letters to mail to donors.

• Facilitate Donate Every Month (DEM) program logistics, including an updated monthly membership list & benefits for donors at different levels.

• Identify and help with membership retention & reactivation of lapsed donors.

• Recruit new members.

• Will need to be able to access ActBlue.com account or ask for information from the account.

Democrats Care (Community Outreach):

Job Duties

• Create and assist with community service initiatives in Anderson County - goal is to provide one community service project every quarter.

• Help oversee the planning and implementation of community service projects.

• Connect people in the broader community by facilitating sponsorship agreements and cultivating relationships with businesses, individuals, and other relevant organizations.

• Compile list of progressive-friendly businesses

• Recruit and manage volunteers at outreach events

• Help with advertising outreach events/opportunities

Fundraising Committee Chair:

Job Duties

• Assist and participate in the overall fundraising plan, writing and sending periodic appeal letters (hard copy and electronic).

• Cultivate donors and prospects.

• Analyze contribution history to target solicitations.

• Test and refine fundraising tactics.

• Help with securing celebrity attendees.

• Assist with the organization of annual special events.

Volunteer Coordinator: (POSITION FILLED)

• Recruit, delegate assignments, and retain volunteers for the Party in various capacities.

• Match volunteers with opportunities that fit their skills and preferences, including voter registration, canvassing, and office administration.

• Provide ongoing training and quality control.

Candidate Recruitment Coordinator: (POSITION FILLED)

• Identify, vet, and recruit potential county and state-level candidates from Anderson County.
